MB Trade Lab ("we", "our", "the app") is a personal trading journal. This policy explains what information is collected when you use it and how that information is handled.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (handled securely by our authentication provider — passwords are never stored in plain text or visible to us).
When you log a trade, we store the details you enter: pair, date, time, session, direction, setup, risk %, outcome, R:R, the currency amount made or lost (if you choose to log one), any chart links, notes, and any screenshots you attach. If you set an account currency in Settings, that preference is stored too.
We do not collect browsing activity outside the app, or any data beyond what you directly enter.
Subscription payments are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card details — Stripe collects and processes them directly. We do keep a record of your subscription status (trial, active, past due, or cancelled) so the app knows whether to grant access.
Your data is used solely to power your own dashboards, heatmaps, and performance stats inside the app. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties, and we do not use it to train any external models.
Trade data and account credentials are stored securely using Supabase, our backend provider. Data is retained for as long as your account remains active. If you'd like your account and all associated data deleted, contact us and we'll remove it.
The app uses your browser's local storage to remember small preferences, such as your recently used trading pairs and theme setting, to make the app easier to use. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
You can request an export or permanent deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. We'll respond and action reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe.
We may update this policy occasionally as the app evolves. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
